Our team brings many years of healthcare management experience in the nursing, home care and care management fields. Managing staff, providing private care management services for our clients and coordinating all aspects of care with an interdisciplinary approach in our specialty. Sheila O'Brien

R.N., B.S.N, C.M.C. Owner, Director or Care Management, Founder of O’Brien Care Management

Sheila brings more than 20 years of healthcare experience in the nursing, home care and care management fields. Prior to opening O’Brien Care Management Services, LLC, Sheila serves as Regional Manager for Koved Care in New York City. While there, she was responsible for establishing the company’s operations on the east coast, managed all staff, provided private case management services for clients and coordinated all aspects of care with an interdisciplinary approach.
Presently, she owns and operates O’Brien Care Management Services, LLC where both her and her team of nurse care managers work closely with clients who face geriatric and/or psychiatric challenges. The team helps clients and their families navigate through the very complex medical world, manage their homes in a safe and efficient manner, help them find their next place to live and so much more. 
Other career highlights include extensive home care experience as a case manager, assisting with all invasive cardiac procedures as nurse in the cardiac angioplasty department at St. Vincent’s Medical Center and providing clinical assessments and personal care as primary nurse at Beth Israel Hospital, Boston, MA. Sheila earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree from Fairfield University. She holds licenses in the states of Connecticut and New York as a Registered Nurse and holds certification as a Certified Care Manager through the N.A.C.C.M.  She serves on the Board of Trustees for St. Vincent’s College in Bridgeport, CT.
